Where The Wild Things Are: Slip On Sneakers & Sweatshirt + Fur Vest

Hi everyone! If you had a chance to read my last post , you know I am wearing the same outfit two ways, and this is the part II. For the second pairing, I decided on a more casual vibe for the sweatshirt and these draped pants combo, then completed the look with this super soft fur vest and these comfortable slip-on sneakers. Hope you have a great weekend!!

Rebel with a clue: Oxblood Moto Jacket + Statement Necklace + Sweatshirt + Draped Pants

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I am totally okay waiting another year before I see another turkey. Today's outfit post will be divided into two sections. I wanted to share with you all how I styled the same outfit, two different ways-just by changing up the jackets and shoes. The outfit itself is a simple coupling between a basic sweatshirt, and harem pants. This can be tricky...as the pairing tends to read slouchy; however with the right jacket and accessories, this can go from couch-potato, to fashion forward in a snap. For the first look-I finished the ensemble with an oxblood moto jacket, and classic Blahnik BB pumps, and a statement necklace for extra oomph. By the way, I layered two statement necklaces to create one bold piece. This is a great way to enhance any outfit and stretch your closet at the same time. I chose these two necklaces (here and here) based on their similar components; but it can also be done when there is more contrast between the two. Play around with it and tell me what you come up with. Oh, I almost forgot-did anyone brave the crowds to score some killer deals during the Black Friday sale? I will be posting part II later, please stop back by and let me know what you think. Thanks for visiting! Have a great week ^_^

Luxe sweatshirt : floral pants & sweatshirt plus statement necklace

All right guys, this will be my last post until I get back from my vacation. I’m fleeing the clutches of winter for a more tropical setting-THAILAND! I will miss you all but be patient I will be back with more style before you know it ^_^
This outfit is one of my favorite as it is so comfortable, yet polished. Don’t we all love sweatshirts? They were once only allowed to be worn when you’re lounging at home or when you’re at the gym. Not any more-pairing these bad boys with put-together pieces like patterned pants or midi skirts then just add a statement necklace, and you’re done! Yes, you can go to work in a sweatshirt……I did!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and eat some turkey for me!! See you soon ^_^
Stay chic and be unique!

Daring Red: pleather skirt + sweatshirt + red accents

I have been searching for red lipstick for fall a while. I was looking for a vamp (vampire) red lipstick tone. About two weeks ago, my husband and I had to get shopping done for my family (upcoming trip) so we stopped by Sephora (Georgetown, TX). This place is awesome and the staff is so friendly and helpful. My husband got someone to help me with the shopping list, and the girl showed me all different kinds/brands of red lipstick. Finally, I found my match and it is Urban Decay (Revolution Lipstick in Shame). The red of this lipstick is what I was looking for. It is more like oxblood color which is perfect for winter. The girl also introduced me to a Smashbox Representative (who just happened to be in store that day!) and she helped me pick out some good makeup essentials. Their primer and powder work marvelously-I really love them. “Peace-out fine lines!”
These pumps are amazing…it’s like they were designed to make any woman’s feet look great. Since my sweatshirt is loose, I paired it with fitted leather skirt and threw on a red leopard scarf-adding some color to the look (scarf last seen on my Fall shorts post). I am always on the lookout for great red lips, so if you found one you love, please do share*^_^*
