Shades of Green: Neon Green top & Teal Midi Skirt

This week has mercifully gone by quite fast (I'm glad), hope you all are having a great week so far! Today's outfit is all about colors (in the same hue and different scheme). I love color however I  am always attracted to darker color and neutral clothes whenever it comes to shopping (old habit). I try to do better, and here I am wearing a neon green color blouse with red lipstick (why not). Do whatever makes you feel good, life is too short!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead ^_^

Borrowed from the boy: Boyfriend Jeans & Boyfriend Blazer

I've been wearing this plaid shirt a lot lately (since I love it so much). The plaid shirt is a very versatile, but oftentimes overlooked closet must have; you can wear by itself, (like this) throw a sweater over it, (like this ) or tie it around your waist. These are just a few of the options out there, just discover your own creative touch-and in no time you can stretch your closet one outfit at a time. ^_^

Fairy Tale: Tulle Skirt & Grey Sweater

Hope you are having a great week so far! Today I revisited my tulle skirt from Space 46 (last seen here) and paired it with a simple grey sweater with a cool high collar (or it can be folded down). An easy updo with a headband, and a pearl floral necklace added a girly-girl touch, and played along nicely with this fanciful skirt. Wish you a happy Holiday!!!

Rebel with a clue: Oxblood Moto Jacket + Statement Necklace + Sweatshirt + Draped Pants

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I am totally okay waiting another year before I see another turkey. Today's outfit post will be divided into two sections. I wanted to share with you all how I styled the same outfit, two different ways-just by changing up the jackets and shoes. The outfit itself is a simple coupling between a basic sweatshirt, and harem pants. This can be tricky...as the pairing tends to read slouchy; however with the right jacket and accessories, this can go from couch-potato, to fashion forward in a snap. For the first look-I finished the ensemble with an oxblood moto jacket, and classic Blahnik BB pumps, and a statement necklace for extra oomph. By the way, I layered two statement necklaces to create one bold piece. This is a great way to enhance any outfit and stretch your closet at the same time. I chose these two necklaces (here and here) based on their similar components; but it can also be done when there is more contrast between the two. Play around with it and tell me what you come up with. Oh, I almost forgot-did anyone brave the crowds to score some killer deals during the Black Friday sale? I will be posting part II later, please stop back by and let me know what you think. Thanks for visiting! Have a great week ^_^

Monochromatic Gray: Gray Blazer + Gray Jeans & Tee

Wearing an outfit comprised of one color is actually not that tricky…it is really a no brainer. You can have your outfit in one color, or in all the colors (just play around with the tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue. Today’s outfit is an almost head-to-toe gray ensemble (minus my shoes and bag). I can swap the blazer for a coat-or wear a hoodie underneath the blazer if the weather gets colder.  We are supposed to get a cold front by the end of the week (fingers crossed) just in time for a taste of fall weather. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week, and remember to have a super fun and safe Halloween !!
