I've been wearing this plaid shirt a lot lately (since I love it so much). The plaid shirt is a very versatile, but oftentimes overlooked closet must have; you can wear by itself, (like this) throw a sweater over it, (like this ) or tie it around your waist. Plaid & Floral: H&M Plaid Shirt & Ivanka Trump Floral Pumps + Moto Jacket

The statement necklace. What a simple addition, which can instantly dress up any ensemble. Mixing prints is another fun and modern way to style outfits while stretching your closet at the same time. For this post, I decided to play with a classic plaid top, and floral print shoes. Although they are not twins, they have the same basic color palette so there is still cohesion throughout the look. Add a moto jacket for a different texture; and to help keep your shoulders nice and toasty in the chilly late fall weather ^_^ Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week! Weekend Kicks: Boyfriend Jeans & Slip on Sneakers

Summer Layer: Utility Jacket & Flat Sandals

Hope everyone has been having a great weekend so far. Casual, no fuss, weekend outfit anyone? I paired my silky top with boyfriend jeans and flat sandals for a laid-back feel. My utility jacket and tote echo the casual yet pulled together vibe. This Zara leather shopping bag is SO roomy and light weight which is perfect for packing all my summer essentials on the go. About two months ago, I made my first purchase from Madewell (I got dresses: this, this and this) and recently I just got these sandals from them. The straps are soft and won’t cut your feet… and even though they are relatively flat they remain surprisingly comfortable. Thus, I think they will turn out to be my feet’s new buddy this summer ^_^              Enjoy your weekend!!

 

   

Spring has sprung: Floral Pumps & Boyfriend Jeans

I really love how rich in color this outfit is especially these pumps. Talking about these pumps, (Ivanka Trump ‘Indico’ pumps c/o Nordstrom) I adore and appreciate who ever designed these shoes! Not only are they pretty…but also SUPER comfortable (so much cushion makes you feel like you’re wearing sneakers). Searching for practical shoes that provide you support, and cushioning, while still being fashionable is almost like looking for a unicorn-impossible. Well let me tell you-I finally found my unicorn! ^^ For the outfit, I paired my boyfriend jeans, with this fuchsia blouse (last seen here Too legit to quit), and added floral pumps to get a polished look.

My husband stopped the car after we were done with the shoot and took photos of these flowers-they are so pretty and colorful. You’ll see in the last photo that my gorgeous pumps made their way among the flowers… and they blended in just right. Have a great rest of the week, everyone!!
