Dark Floral: Flowy Dark Floral Dress + Moto Jacket + Booties

Today's look is all about how to style a summer dress in winter! I wore this Old Navy dress by itself before fall and it was just perfect, however as the temperature drops the thin cotton dress alone will not cut it. Therefore I paired it with a moto jacket, tights and booties for a simple winter layered look. This moto jacket is from Forever 21 and it is so soft and affordable.  Actually, my faux leather jacket collection is all from Forever 21 (less than $40, you can't beat that) and they look as great as the designer or expensive options.
By the way, I threw in my selfie wearing contact lenses from Air Optix Colors in pure hazel as the last picture.  They look natural (my eye color is brown) and are comfortable if you are looking for fun colored lenses for a special day or event; as these are one-day contact lenses. Hope you have a great week!

Spring Pastel: Pale Pink Moto Jacket + Oxford Shirt + Floral Pumps

Hello there! It's been almost two months but, I'm finally back. Today's post will be the last time you see me wearing a moto jacket-as the heat here in Texas is already climbing steadily towards the triple digits. By the way, I started an Instagram account if you're interested :) @style_and_cappuccino Hope to see you all there!!

Audrey: Striped shirt + Cropped White Jeans + Pale Pink Moto Jacket

This outfit reminds me of Audrey Hepburn a bit; striped shirt, and ankle pants, with pearl accessories-classic. The leather jacket really pulled the look together and keeps it feminine in this pale pink tone. All of the moto jackets I own are from Forever 21. They are affordable, look good, are super soft, and very comfortable. Anyhow, I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and an amazing weekend! If you haven't checked off at least half of your Holiday shopping list, you are running out of time! Good luck ^_^

Rebel with a clue: Oxblood Moto Jacket + Statement Necklace + Sweatshirt + Draped Pants

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I am totally okay waiting another year before I see another turkey. Today's outfit post will be divided into two sections. I wanted to share with you all how I styled the same outfit, two different ways-just by changing up the jackets and shoes. The outfit itself is a simple coupling between a basic sweatshirt, and harem pants. This can be tricky...as the pairing tends to read slouchy; however with the right jacket and accessories, this can go from couch-potato, to fashion forward in a snap. For the first look-I finished the ensemble with an oxblood moto jacket, and classic Blahnik BB pumps, and a statement necklace for extra oomph. By the way, I layered two statement necklaces to create one bold piece. This is a great way to enhance any outfit and stretch your closet at the same time. I chose these two necklaces (here and here) based on their similar components; but it can also be done when there is more contrast between the two. Play around with it and tell me what you come up with. Oh, I almost forgot-did anyone brave the crowds to score some killer deals during the Black Friday sale? I will be posting part II later, please stop back by and let me know what you think. Thanks for visiting! Have a great week ^_^

Plaid & Floral: H&M Plaid Shirt & Ivanka Trump Floral Pumps + Moto Jacket

The statement necklace. What a simple addition, which can instantly dress up any ensemble. Mixing prints is another fun and modern way to style outfits while stretching your closet at the same time. For this post, I decided to play with a classic plaid top, and floral print shoes. Although they are not twins, they have the same basic color palette so there is still cohesion throughout the look. Add a moto jacket for a different texture; and to help keep your shoulders nice and toasty in the chilly late fall weather ^_^ Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week! We cannot wait 'till this weekend, as it marks the kickoff to our long weekend. #ninedaysoffinarow!
