Blending in while standing out : Camouflage pants + graphic tee + blazer

 

Hope everyone had a great weekend! It was not much of a game at this year’s Super Bowl, but we enjoyed the food and the company.  I have been suffering from allergies so I did not post for almost two weeks. Even major high doses of vitamin C and other concoctions, the allergy/cold defeated me.
This is a casual Monday office outfit. A classic blazer and pumps can easily dress up your simple tee and jeans. For a casual weekend look, try pairing the tee shirt and jeans, with cardigan and flats instead of a blazer and pumps.

Sakura : Floral Maxi Skirt & Moto Jacket

 These flowers and my skirt reminded me of Cherry Blossoms in Japan, or ‘Sakura’ in Japanese. I just love combining soft, feminine pieces with tougher, rougher pieces. This maxi skirt I got from an online store based out of Hong Kong called “Chicwish” is amazing. I love that it is so comfortable and perfect for winter and spring. You will certainly see this gorgeous skirt again. (Faux leather jacket was last seen here Fall date night look and here Jet setter)

Casual plaid : Plaid pants & sweater

Hello everyone, I’m back.  It has been awhile since last time I posted “before leaving to Thailand”. With jet lag and the holidays, outfit posts had to be on my back burner. By the way, we had an amazing time in Thailand and we are going to save up for our next trip in a couple of years.

I styled this outfit back in November, but did not get a chance to post it. For a more casual look, I paired these pants with booties and a light sweater.  (These plaid pants were previously seen on Tartan in business).

Luxe sweatshirt : floral pants & sweatshirt plus statement necklace

All right guys, this will be my last post until I get back from my vacation. I’m fleeing the clutches of winter for a more tropical setting-THAILAND! I will miss you all but be patient I will be back with more style before you know it ^_^

This outfit is one of my favorite as it is so comfortable, yet polished. Don’t we all love sweatshirts? They were once only allowed to be worn when you’re lounging at home or when you’re at the gym. Not any more-pairing these bad boys with put-together pieces like patterned pants or midi skirts then just add a statement necklace, and you’re done! Yes, you can go to work in a sweatshirt……I did!
