Cobalt & Grey: Belted Cocoon Coat & Cobalt Pumps

I wore this Heathered double-sleeve cocoon coat (it is currently sold out both in US and Canada) as a dress for this outfit post in order to change it up a bit. Since the coat has a loose fit, I was forced to belt it, otherwise it will just look like I'm wearing a sack of potatoes...lol. This coat is so very versatile; it gives any outfit a feel of being effortlessly put together. The other day I was in a rush, so wore it as a coat over a simple sweater and jeans. Not only did it keep me toasty warm all day long-I actually got a lot of compliments! Hope you have a great week!!

Black and blue : Laser cut dress & cobalt sweater

The post title might give the wrong impression- but hopefully my outfit represents that being black & blue can be something positive.  If you guys still remember, I posted an outfit about different shades of blue before (Different shades of blue). Once again I incorporated cobalt into the outfit, but this time I used a sweater and pumps to brighten up the dress (last seen on Edgy sweet symphony).  I really like that this has a very classic silhouette, but with just a pinch of edge…

Jet setter : Floral pants & moto jacket

I do not fly often. I have been back home (Thailand) four times since I got here in 2003. My husband and I are so excited because we started planning a trip to Thailand years ago-and finally we are going to visit my family in November. He has never met my family in person, but they met through Skype/video chat. Lucky for me, my husband will accompany me this time. Travelling (especially internationally) alone is not fun at all. Anyway, this location made me think of a runway, and it looks like I’m boarding a private plane which inspired me for the post title. I wore darker color floral prints and paired them with this biker jacket to suit fall/winter weather.  Hope you like it.

Different shades of blue

“What is your favorite color?” My answer would always be blue. Lately I have been cheating on my favorite color and gravitating towards purple… and I scream “purple!” (see Sophia Grace and Rosie, link below) when I see something new in this shade. Thanks to fall color trends, and the focus on cobalt, I’m once again rekindling the relationship with my pal.
